This depends on the size of your website. A standard 5-page website usually takes 2 weeks, and a bigger 15-page website can take 3-5 weeks. I can work with you if you have a specific deadline that needs to be met.

I’m confident my pricing is straightforward and without surprises. I try to be as transparent with my pricing as possible, that’s why I offer pricing packages instead of the typical “Contact us for a quote!”, which really translates into: Let me judge how much budget you have so I can maximize it.

What changes the cost is custom functionality, like adding MLS listings, custom booking forms, or custom widgets, which take time to implement. If your website does require customization like that, it will be quoted hourly ($100 CAD an hour).

As I often work with small businesses, I also always do my best to avoid monthly subscriptions to things like plugins or third-party software to reduce costs.

Nope! I make all my websites with the client in mind by making the website easy and intuitive to edit, update, and add content. If you’re not confident in your technical capabilities, we can sit down for a 1-on-1 tutorial.

Additionally, if you don’t want to do updates yourself, I can do it for you at my hourly rate of $100 CAD.

Your website should only need a couple of minutes of maintenance a month. It’s common for people to even leave their website for 5 months, and it’s okay. All your website would need is plugin and framework updates to keep it running securely, as I used WordPress to build websites. I’ve also written an article on website maintenance to help clients.

When I send an invoice over, it will have a link with a payment portal you can use to put in any credit or debt card. It will automatically send you a receipt for accounting purposes.

You’ll need a few things to begin:

  • A logo
  • All or most of the website content (text and images)
  • An idea of what colors you want

To launch the website, you’ll need:

  • A domain (around $15 USD a year)
  • Website Hosting ($5-50 USD a month)

I can help walk you through each step of the process.

Yes, I work alone. I do all the website work myself; I do not outsource anything. I do partner with a logo designer (she designed my logo!), who I always recommend, as well as a copywriter if you need help writing content for your website.

If you are interested in any of those services, let me know!

  1. We meet via a video call or a phone call to discuss your website and what you’re looking for.
  2. I built out the website with your content based on your requirements.
  3. I will send you a private link to your new website, built out, and you can then send any revisions or changes you want me to make. There are 2 sets of revisions.
  4. Once perfected, I launch the website!

I make websites using WordPress, utilizing various WordPress themes and plugins.

Basically, you send me the content, and I make you a website. I don’t do a design phase before development like some other web designers, as this would at minimum double the cost to make the website. I like to jump straight to developing it right away to make websites cost-effective for small businesses.
